Dr. Jo Eddins DC

Dr. Jo Eddins is a highly skilled and attentive chiropractor in Kailua, Hawaii. He completed his Doctorate of Chiropractic Medicine at the University of Western States, and has a Bachelor of Science in both Exercise Science, and Human Biology. He is an MPI specialist, and has extensive training in treating a variety of conditions such as back pain, sciatica, neck pain, motor vehicle recovery, whiplash, headaches, vertigo, jaw pain, frozen shoulder, tennis elbow, foot pain, and peripheral neuropathy. Through the Motion Palpation Institute, Dr. Eddins has received extra training in the treatment of pre & post natal women, and children of all ages. He has a unique ability to truly modify his technique to be as tough or as gentle as needed for the individual patient in front of him. He uses a variety of techniques to get you feeling your best, such as diversified adjusting, activator, postural analysis, rehabilitation exercise, Atlas Orthogonal, myofacial release (IASTM), cold laser therapy (LLLT), cross friction fiber massage, ESTIM, Arthrostim, ultrasound, and more.

Dr. Eddins fell in love with the chiropractic profession at a young age after suffering a neck injury while playing hockey. Chiropractic care was the only thing that brought him relief and got him back on the ice doing what he loved. Dr. Eddins, originally from Alberta, Canada, was born with a passion for sports and in college received a scholarship to play NCAA Division II golf for a private school in South Carolina. When Dr. Eddins is not in the office he enjoys spending time with his family and his two rescue pups. He still fuels his passion for golf, and makes an effort to get out on the golf course as frequently as possible. He loves spending time in and out of the water and enjoys exploring and exercising outdoors as much as he can. He loves being a small business owner and is constantly looking for ways to improve the clinic to benefit patients experience. He enjoys deep diving into the latest medical research studies in order to stay up-to-date on everything related to giving his patients the best possible care.
