What to Expect
First Visit
On your first visit you will be welcomed in by our amazing front desk staff. If you haven’t already filled out paperwork on line, you can do so in office before getting started. You and your doctor will then go through your paperwork together. They will get a detailed past health history, and talk extensively about what brought you in.
After finishing your health history, but before providing any treatment, your doctor will perform a thorough physical exam. They will look at how your body moves, perform specific orthopedic tests tailored to what brought you in, and rule out any red flags. They will then get hands on with all your muscles and joints.
Your doctor will take all the information gathered through out the exam and history to determine your diagnosis. They will then go over a brief synopsis of your diagnosis with you. Through out the entire exam you should feel free to ask any questions and voice any concerns since our doctors are excellent communicators and their goal is to make sure you feel comfortable and understand what is happening in your own body. Finally, with your okay, it’s time for treatment! Our goal at WildBird Chiropractic & Wellness is to have you feeling better on day one and you should take comfort in knowing you are in good hands.
